Wut an Agony, Wut a Shayme!

A trip to Singapore recently made me realised how limited our choices here are.
One Utama, The Curve, Mid Valley, Sunway Pyramid are the many shopping spots, tapi seeeemuaaaa jual benda sama. You have the same G2000, MNG, Giordano, British India, Edmundser... everything lah. You've to one you've gone to them all.

All taylors provide the same cutting and the same colour scheme and everyone has it. Apasal pegi keje kena pakai colour brown, grey, black and light blue aje ke?

And then it doesn't help that in IT industry, people are way un-flamboyant. Yet I'm in it for the past 9 years, patutla my mind is still in black and white.

It doesn't help when everybody buys the same black skirt from either Comma or G2000 and the top... standard RM29 per piece cardigans you can even buy from Giant. Whyyyylaaaa??????

I have been making my rounds to make presentation sessions with customers and it is just so revolting you know... to see women's skinny 'unsunned' feet in flat slippers, half wet hair, clip rambut 20sen beli kat kedai mamak jual suratkhabar, skirt kembang to show they are young at heart tapi all crumpled seribu. Muka tak mandi or is it they haven't been getting it hard up their 'roof'. It's bad enough that everbody's trying to spot the 'rebonding' hair style. Is this a cult?

It just turns me off when I had to wake up, choose a nice skirt, take extra time to scent myself so that while I pass out reading materials nobody will smell my ketiak, wash my hair in the begezzuz cold morning hour and hair dry it neatly, even pick out comfortable undies that is conducive for my movements to see all these IT worklings yang rupa macam terompah hanyut.
Yet I learnt that everybody get fat paychecks in this industry, mana pegi duit diaorang?

I think I better get back to visiting the clubs at night to balance things up.... before I slowly turn into one of them.

Haaaaaa, lagi satu anger management. I feel so relieved now. Where's Poncho, I feel like beating him up for fun.

A Few Frivolous Things

It is time I use this blog for some anger management.
Crook-ed Bridge.
"I don't understand. They bother to justify to Mahathir far and wide in the papers. This surely gives him the feeling that he's INCHARGE! coz he gets what he wants."
That comes from the man who looks highly upon Dr. M, Mr Ponchoman.
The public response in retrospect...
"It was him isn't it? It's Pak Lah's thought to hear it out. No wonder there was a big crowd waited at the airport to cheer him", my mom said.
Mummy's been with the government sector all her life.
"Last time, in the meetings, only he speaks and we just take instructions. He gave so many of them that he could forget things; like the APs".
At the back of my mind, this reminds me of what's happening in my workplace, exactly the same scenario coming from a new head. She gives hundreds of instructions and when someone had an idea to moot, it gets dismissed with a hand infront of our nose. She then continues without making much eye contact thus will never know if she is understood nor agreed.
FULL OF THEMSELVES.
Sometimes dear smartchatterbrains, we need to stop and evaluate others' body language. Asians is a bloody shy lot. We'd fidget our face and our shoulders coz something is trying to come out of our mouth but if the gestures don't get noticed, the thoughts will just get swallowed into oblivion.
I guess Pak Lah knows when to stop to 'take the temperature'.
I will need to ask my cats if they are sick of Friskies and Eagle's Pack. Their body gestures might tell me to get top of the line Science Diet. Better pretend they like it.
The best quote I got about leadership
"The man who is worthy of being a leader of men will never complain about the stupidity of his helpers, the ingratitude of mankindmor the inappeciation of the public. These are all a part of the great game of life. To meet them and overcome them and not to go down before them in disgust, discouragement of defeat - that is the final proof of power."
- William J. H. Boetcker
ANAK DATUK AMBIK DADAH.
This is probably my 4th entry about why I think Usop Haslam is such a moron. No other Mini bus drivers had followed his example by diversifying into a film director to obtain Datukship yet, so the title defeated its purpose.
So funny, he directs Gerak Khas and then blames the police for releasing premature results of his son's urine that shows positive results of Shabu and Grass. "Ya atau tidak anak saya ambil dadah itu tak relevan. Dia kata pada saya "Pa, I don't take drugs". Anak saya bukan selalu pergi disko, dia pergi pun sebab saudara dia baru balik dari Russia". Yeaaahhhh riiiighhtt, not another unconvincing drama la Usop!
